Our role is to manage projects designed to create a motorway network and airport system capable of driving Italy's social and economic development. We aim to play a key role in the development of a trans-European transport network and to ensure that Fiumicino ranks as one of Europe’s leading airports. Our activities include the design, construction and maintenance of major infrastructure works, whilst maintaining a constant focus on the environmental impact of what we do and on the development of ethical and sustainable energy projects.


We are Europe’s leading provider of toll motorway construction and operation services and of the related traffic management services. We have also been granted an exclusive concession by the Italian state to build, operate and develop the airports of Rome Fiumicino and Rome Ciampino. We work day-in, day-out to raise safety standards and improve motorway and airport traffic flow by keeping our customers informed, ensuring that infrastructure is efficiently maintained and by conducting rigorous checks on the quality of our services and the safety of our employees.

Information Technology

We design, produce and operate Information and Communication Technology services and infrastructure for the benefit of all motorway and airport users, meeting the very highest quality standards and with a strong focus on ensuring the satisfaction of customers and all our stakeholders. We develop widely used, high-tech systems for real-time information management. We also explore technology trends and design innovative software and applications with a view to both introducing new solutions and optimising those that already exist.

We were the first motorway operator in the world to develop an automated free-flow tolling system (Telepass) and the Safety Tutor, an innovative road safety system.

Our latest airport projects include the trial use of automated passport controls and the flight tracking service, aimed at improving passenger comfort and safety.


We oversee activities in the form of complex and dynamic processes, involving specialist expertise and a variety of skills. Our activities cover management controls, legal, administrative and financial oversight, the supervision of communication processes and public relations, internal audit, risk management, the organisation and development of human resources and the management of relations with unions and government bodies.

Commercial and Marketing

We have a constant commitment to improving the services provided and disseminating information to customers, through ongoing attention to customer care and the marketing and promotion of our products and services. The Motorway Service Areas and Airport Terminals visited by millions of travellers every year are the main focus of our initiatives. Our main objective is to put the customer at the centre of everything we do.


The Group’s Finance department is responsible for managing cash flows and relations with banks and financial institutions in order to ensure the short- and medium/long-term funding of operations. It also operates a centralised treasury management system, and manages the Group’s liquidity, currency and interest rate risks. The Finance department works hand-in-hand with Investor Relations and Corporate Finance.
